George Franklin Mock
Evans, GA – Entered into rest Friday, March 16, 2012 at his residence, Mr. George Franklin Mock, husband of Delores P. Mock of Evans, GA. Other family members include his son: Frank Mock, Jr. and wife Tina; daughter: Angie Mock Scoates and husband Gaylon; six grandchildren: April Hardy Dent and husband Josh, Brandon Hebbard and wife Hannah, Ryan Mock, Tyler Mock, Molly Laurence and Tristan Mock. Four great grandchildren: Emilee Mock, Loralie Hebbard, Marshall Hebbard and Emersyn Dent; two brothers and a sister.
A native of Estill, SC, Mr. Mock joined the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He began a career at BellSouth that lasted 39 years and was a member of the CWA Local 3207. He enjoyed camping, fishing and Atlanta Braves baseball. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 19, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sonny Sellers officiating. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hebbard, Ryan Mock, Tyler Mock, Tristan Mock, Vernon Davis and Tony Davis. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Project of Augusta at 1190 Interstate Pkwy, Augusta, GA 30909.
