Obituary

Olive R. Curtis, 87, of Hartford Pike, Scituate, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center. She was the widow of Lewis W. Curtis.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Henry and Sadie P. (Armstrong) Eva. She had lived in Scituate for most her adult life. She was loving, caring and generous to all and she was a devoted member of Seventh-Day Adventist Church nearly all her life. Mrs. Curtis had been the operator at Davol Manufacturing in Providence before retiring.

She was the loving and devoted sister of her only living sibling: her sister Eloise Ruberto of Florida. She is also survived by her stepchildren: Andrea Curtis-Singh and William Curtis, a granddaughter, Tara Singh and 19 nieces and nephews. She was the step mother of the late Lewis Curtis,Jr. and sister of the late Harry, Warren and Russell Eva, Ellen E. Blanche, Sadie Riggott and Dorothy Gilmore.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 11am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Wednesday 10-11am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Seventh-Day Adventist Church,PO Box 19237, Johnston, RI 02919
