Mr. Robert T. Brady, age 99, died Wednesday morning, March 14, 2012 at the E. N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, after a lengthy illness. Born in East Boston, Bob was the son of the late Mary (White) & Robert M. Brady.
Bob was a Woburn resident for the last 48 years, formerly of Brighton and East Boston. He was a cab driver and worked nights for many of those years. Bob was a US Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific theater from July 22, 1943 to October 20, 1945. He married Donatina "Tina" Pagliarullo in 1938 and they spent 57 years together, until her death in 1995. He was a former member of the St. Anthony Club of Woburn, and different social clubs in Woburn where he enjoyed playing cards with friends.
In addition to his late wife Donatina (Pagliarullo) Brady, Bob is survived by his son Bob Brady and his wife Gina of Woburn. Loving grandfather of Steve Brady of Woburn, Kristen McArdle and her husband Tim of Hampstead, NH. Loving great grandfather of Brianna McArdle. Brother of Anna Ryan of Brighton, Agnes Thornton of Reading and the late Gladys, Thomas, David, Leo, and Charles Brady. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Monday March 19th at 10:30 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Monday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
