Hannelore E. Bates, age 77, of Clarksville, died March 14, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. Hannah was born June 2, 1934 in Wurzburg, Germany. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James A. Bates of Clarksville, TN; sons, Bernhard of Cayce, SC and Preston of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter, Joyce of Lexington, SC; daughter-in-law, Andrea; grandchildren, Adam and Samuel of Ft. Worth, TX; and four brothers in Germany.
Hannah was a loving wife and mother whose family meant everything to her.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 12 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2012 from 4-7 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
