Beverly L. (Przystas) LeBlanc, 54, of Acushnet, died Thursday April 8, 2004 at home surrounded by her family after a long 2 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of Kenneth A. LeBlanc.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Barbara L. (Neagus) Przystas of Acushnet and the late Theodore S. Przystas, she had lived in Acushnet all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church .
Mrs. LeBlanc was formerly employed by the Acushnet Company for 35 1/2 years until her retirement.
She was a devoted wife, mother and friend who was known for her generosity, her smile, her bubbly personality, and delicious cakes.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; a son, Jason LeBlanc of Fairhaven; a daughter, Wendy Gatto of Acushnet; 3 brothers, Rodney Reed, and his wife Mary, and Alvin Reed, and his wife Michele, all of New Bedford, and Paul Reed of Acushnet; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Tuesday April 13, 2004 at 7:45 AM.Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet, at 9 AM.Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Monday April 12, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9. Burial will be in Acushnet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to O.C.E.A.N. at M.G.H., Mass.
