Obituary

Anthony Thomas Salvetti, beloved son of the late Thomas and Anne (Patricelli) Salvetti, brother of the late Pauline Salvetti died on March 11th after a long illness. Anthony lived most his life in Brockton. He is a 1959 graduate of Brockton High School, and served in the United States Army in the 1960’s. He was a chaplain’s assistant and because of his love for music and proficiency at playing the organ, he served as the army base organist at weekly Mass. He played piano and organ in many restaurants and lounges in the late 60’s and early 70’s. He was a sales coordinator at the Canoe Club for many years. Anthony retired from AGM Manufacturing in Brockton in 2006. He was an avid reader and historian, and spent much of his retirement creating a family tree of French monarchies. He was also an avid veteran supporter. Forty first cousins on the Patricelli side, six on the Salvetti side, and many loving godchildren survive him. He will be greatly missed, along with his wonderful Brandy Alexander drink with which he pleased his family on Christmas Eve. Anthony will be laid to rest in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Rest in peace, Anthony.
