Sharon A. (Helias) Baribeault, 50, died on Sunday, March 11th in her home, while surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 10 years, Jeffrey P. Baribeault; a son Jason M. Helias of New Market, NH and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Lawrence and Shirley (Bedard) Helias and graduated from Burncoat High School.
Mrs. Baribeault worked as a paralegal for Unum in Worcester for 25 years before retiring in 2009. She sold Avon products for 20 years and enjoyed crafting, shopping and going out to dinner.
Sharon was a believer in giving her time to help others, she spent much time volunteering for both the NEADS program and also Team Ministries. Mrs. Baribeault also participated in the Relay for Life.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Commonwealth Hematology and Oncology for their loving care, support and treatment that was given to Sharon during her battle with cancer, you are truly angels.
The funeral will be held on Friday, March 16th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 AM in Saint Joan of Arc 570 Lincoln St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Thursday, March 15th from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
