Obituary

BRIDGEWATER - Daisy E. (Taylor) Harte, of Bridgewater died Tuesday, April 6, 2004, at her home in Bridgewater after a brief illness. She was the wife of Lloyd Harte.

Born in Richmond, Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Nena (Travers) Taylor.

She was educated in public schools in Florida and was a graduate of Hampton University in Hampton, Va.

Mrs. Harte was employed as a registered dietician at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston for 15 years and at Morton Hospital in Taunton, where she had retired from after working there for 33 years.

She was a member of the American Dietetic Association and was a licensed Massachusetts Dietician.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Lloyd Harte Jr. of New Jersey and David Harte of Wareham; seven granddaughters; four great-grandsons; one great- granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church, 35 School St., Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5-8 p.m. in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater. Burial will be in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care of Greater Taunton, 244 North Main St., Raynham, MA 02767.
