Obituary

Robert P. "Bob" Dunham, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at home. He leaves a daughter, Laurie A. and her husband Norman Dziokonski of Sterling; a son Robert P. Dunham, Jr. of Louisiana; five grandchildren; his parents Robert C. and Lorraine M. (Labossiere) Dunham of FL; a brother Ronald W. and his wife Suzanne of West Boylston; a sister Deborah A. Valcourt and Joseph Power of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was born in Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School, where he was the 1965 captain of the basketball team. He spent time training in the National Guard, worked for over 23 years at Norton Company, and then worked as a car salesman at Edward Buick, where he had many loyal customers. He also enjoyed bowling and was a horse racing enthusiast. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to Bob's team of doctors and visiting nurses for their compassionate care.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday March 14, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
