Isabel I. (Whalen) Cannalonga, 87, of 96 Slater St., passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 in Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
“She fought the good fight of Faith and is at home with her Heavenly Father”.
Her husband; Joseph A. Cannalonga died in 1992.
Isabel leaves behind a daughter; Brenda Geron of Worcester, four grandchildren; Jesse, Jason and Joshua Cannalonga and Aneatra Comeau, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, a sister; Barbara Steege of Portland, Oregon, and several nieces and nephews,
and her God-son; Tully Tavares.
She was predeceased by a son; Joseph K. Cannalonga and a daughter; Donna Harris.
Isabel was born in Webster, daughter of James and Elsie (Gatzke) Whalen and lived here all her life.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford and the American Legion Post 184, Ladies Auxillary in Webster.
Isabel was loved by her family and she loved them.
A Memorial Service for Isabel will be Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, 70 Main St., in Oxford.
Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster.
There will be a Calling Hour from 10 to 11 AM (at the Church) prior to the service.
