Butler, Henri T. --- of Medford, formerly of Somerville passed away on March 9, 2012 at the age of 78. “Ted” as most knew him was a dear friend and companion of Virginia “Ginny” Vita of Medford. Ted was a loving dad to Liane Harrington, her husband Michael of Peabody and a special grandpa to their children: Emma, Meredith and Brian; Lauren Stone and her husband David of North Andover and their children: Rachel and Joshua. Ted will be very missed by Ginny’s children Lisa Vita White and her husband Larry of Medford and their children: Joey and Jennifer; Nicky Vita and his children: Michele and her fiancé Emilio, Nicholas and Alisa. He was a dear brother to Keith Butler and his wife MaryLou and the son of the late Henri B. Butler and of his adoring mother Ruth M. (Chandler). The leader of the Ted King Band, Ted was retired from Northeastern University as an operations manager and served in the United States Army. Ted was known for taking “Madison” the family dog for walks, chatting with neighbors and loving the simple pleasures in life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford Thursday, March 15th at 11 AM and to continue the celebration of Ted’s Life at Raso’s Grille, 209 Mystic Ave, Medford.
