In Taunton, March 7, 2012, Jose Santos age 81, passed away in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Jose is survived by his wife Maria (Nativia) Santos of Taunton. He was born in St. Michael, Portugal to his late parents Manuael & Maria (Viera) Santos. Jose worked until his retirement at Crown Wire & Cable Co. in Taunton as a machinist. He was an avid fisherman and a dedicated father, husband and grandfather. Jose leaves his sons; Tony Santos of Taunton and Lino Santos and his wife Dora of Sparta, N.J. Jose also leaves his three grandchildren. His sister Stella Santos of Canada, his brother Lino Santos of Portugal and John Santos of Canada. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton Ma 02780 on Monday at 8am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 5-7pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
