SHREWSBURY;P.Emily (Dean) Daggett 87 of 65 Main Circle, died Monday April 5 at The Meadows of Leicester. She was the wife of Cecil M. Daggett, Jr. who died in 2002. She leaves two sons Richard P. Daggett of E.Granby, Ct. and William D. Daggett of Leicester, two daughters Lois J. Wivagg of Tolland, Ct. and Jan M. Augustinowicz of Ackworth, N.H., a sister Francilia Corbett of Lenox, 8 grand, 7great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Mrs. Daggett was a secretary for the Dept. of Youth Services, in Worcester for more than 10 years, retiring in 1973. She graduated from Coburn High School in Waterville, Me.,attended Northfield School for Girls and graduated from the Univ. of Maine where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Sorority. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury. Born in Winslow, Me., she was the daughter of James L and Lena Pearl (Reynolds) Dean. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday April 8 at 11a.m. in the First Congregational Church, 91 Church Rd., Shrewsbury. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. A calling hour will be held Thursday, April 8 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester.
