Schnetzer, Teresa Angela (Sartori) of Burlington, passed away at age 88 at the Sunrise Living Center, Reminiscence Unit, in Burlington on March 6th. Teresa was the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Cornoni) Sartori, loving wife of the late David B. Schnetzer and sister to Angela D’Agnelli, Maria DeRosa and the late Lena “Lee” Cataldo and Tina Bellizia. She was the beloved and devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and one great grand nephew. Teresa was born and educated in Somerville, lived briefly in Belmont and Canton before retiring to Palm Coast, FL, eventually returning to MA to live out her retirement. While in Florida, Teresa taught English as a second language for over twenty years, was very active in her church, the outreach program as well as working in soup kitchens, all as an unpaid volunteer.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, March 9th, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral mass. Interment services at the Milton Cemetery, Milton, MA will be private. Contributions may be made to the Michael J.
