Ellen Magdalene Clements Camp, 84, of Omega died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Golden Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Kevin Vander Horn II and Rev. Brad McVea will officiate with burial to follow in Lenox Cemetery. Mark Camp, David Camp, Greg Rutland, Frank Rogers, Justin Hale, Matthew Gonzales and Travis Johnson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The family will be at the home of Lynn and Danny Harrell, 1448 Carroll Willis Road, Lenox, GA.
Mrs. Camp was born on November 24, 1927 in Tift County and was the daughter of Lonzo Clements and Georgia Hipps Clements, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Wiley Clements, James Clements, Hendricks Clements and Elton Clements; and three sisters, Lula Mae Wilson, Mattie Lou Creel and Evanell Rowland. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Omega. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club.
Ms. Camp is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Sandra Camp of Norman Park, Fred and Cindy Camp of Lenox and Jerry and Stacie Camp of Lenox; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lynn and Danny Harrell of Lenox and Sandy Gonzales of Omega; one sister, Leola Bruce of Atlanta; 13 grandchildren, Kim Rutland, Dana Rogers, Donna Nation, David Camp, Mark Camp, Chris Hale, Justin Hale, David Gonzales, Anna Gonzales, Kyle Rutland, Ryan Rutland, Daniel Harrell and Holly Harrell; and eight great-grandchildren, Alexandria Rutland, Ross Rutland, Cole Rogers, Barrett Nation, Garrison Nation, Alayna Nation, Julia Camp and Jada Harrell.
