Caroline A. (Holbrook) McGlynn, 76, of Wrentham passed away on March 6 in the Pond Home in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. McGlynn who died in 2004.
Born in Boston, January 6, 1936, the daughter of the late Robert A. Holbrook and his wife Mildred M. (Stoll) Holbrook, Mrs. McGlynn was raised and educated in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston.
She was a 1953 graduate of Jamaica Plain High School.
After graduating she went to work at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a workman’s compensation auditor. Following her moving to Franklin, she had worked at the Ben Franklin Savings Bank as a teller.
She had been a member of the Alden Club for many years.
She is survived by her children, Stephen J. McGlynn of Orlando, Fla., Cheryl A. McGlynn of Franklin, Daniel S. McGlynn and his wife Brenda of Franklin and Susan Cisternelli of Walpole.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Eric, Coriann and Ryan Cisternelli of Walpole, Kayleigh and Joseph McGlynn of Franklin.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Wrentham Centre Cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
