TEWKSBURY - Salvatore S. "Sully" Cirino, age 85, died unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, March 1, at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. He was the beloved husband for 60 years of Mary Jane (Marciante) Cirino, who died in 2008.
"Sully" was born in Everett on July 18, 1926, the son of the late Stacio and Mary (Beradino) Cirino. He was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School.
He worked as a machinist and tool and die maker for J. W. Moore Company in Everett before retirement.
Mr. Cirino lived in Boston’s North End, Medford, and Wilmington before moving to Tewksbury twenty years ago.
He was an active communicant of St. William's Church.
Mr. Cirino enjoyed Ballroom Dancing with his late wife, and was especially happy with time spent with his beloved family.
He is survived by three children, Greg and his wife Patricia (Eller) Cirino of Windham, NH, Jeffrey and his wife Eileen (Glynn) Cirino of Medford, MA; and Jane Barry of Beverly, MA; four grandchildren, Allison Chisholm and her husband Robby of Cambridge, Melissa Cirino of Medford, Jessica Lynn Barry and Richard Aron Barry both of Dartmouth; two great grandchildren, Pheobe Chisholm and Jude Chisholm; one sister, Jacqueline Diegle of CA; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
His Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, March 6, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, No. Tewksbury. Memorial contributions to St. William's Renevation Fund, 1351 Main St. Tewksbury, MA 01876, will be appreciated.
