
Raymond A. Prince 77, of Manchester, died March 2, 2012 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home surrounded by his family. He has been set free and is now it the arms of his savior, Jesus Christ.
He was born in Manchester, NH on August 3, 1934 and was the son of Germain and Lillian (Cote) Prince and had resided in Manchester for all of his life.
Raymond attended St. Anthony Grammar School and graduated from Bishop Bradley High School. He entered the United States Naval reserve and later was activated to active duty for more than 2 years.
He worked at the Union Leader for over 50 years as a typographer, for Union Local 1152
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved very much, taking photographs, playing golf. He was also an avid reader.
Members of his family include his beloved wife of 52 years, Vivianne O. (Vaillancourt) Prince of Manchester, NH; two daughters, Elise Armstrong and her husband David of Goffstown, Celeste Legere and her husband Al of Hooksett, NH; three brothers, Norman Prince of Manchester, Robert Prince of Windsor CT; Richard Prince of Bedford; two sisters, Elaine Ntapalis and her husband George of Manchester, and Denise Czaja and her husband Steve of Candia; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Pauline Prince Tsivoulis.
Services:
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday, March 8, 2012 in St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Avenue. Burial with military honors followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
