TEWKSBURY - Barbara J. (Geary) Bramante, 61, died Monday, April 5, at Saints MemorialMedical Center in Lowell, after a long period of declining health. She was the wife of Richard D.Bramante Sr., with whom she would have celebrated a 38th wedding anniversary on June 11th.
She was born in Charlestown, Aug. 9, 1942, a daughter of the late John P. and Catherine(McIntosh) Geary. She was raised in Medford, and was graduated from Medford High Schoolwith the Class of 1961. She moved to Tewksbury in 1971.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Church, and was also an avid reader.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Jr., and his wifeMichelle (Vassil) Bramante of Methuen; three grandchildren, Vanessa, Ethan, and OliviaBramante; a brother and sister-in-law, John P. Jr. and his wife Dorothy Geary of Woburn; a sister,Marilyn Cowan of Somerville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Patricia Bevilaqua.
Prayerswere offered Thursday in St. William’s Church. Intombment was in Holy CrossCemetery in Malden. AMemorial Mass will be held April 17, at 9:00 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte38) Tewksbury.
