Bellingham—R. Carlton Gibson 69, of Bellingham, died Thursday February 23, 2012 at his home following an illness. He was the husband of Billie A. (Cheney) Gibson.
Born May 28, 1942 in Schenectady, New York, a son of the late Franklin S. Gibson and Elizabeth (Carlton) Gibson of Falmouth, he was a resident of Bellingham for the past 15 years, and was a former longtime resident of Framingham.
He was raised and educated in New York, and was a graduate of Nassan College in Maine where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Mr. Gibson was a sales representative for E Quest Corporation.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, NASCAR, fishing, the Boston Bruins and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by 2 sons; M. Sean Gibson and his wife Cyndi of Framingham, and Travis Gibson and his wife Stephanie of Hudson, a brother F. Swift Gibson of Connecticut and a sister Cindy Hanson of Northborough, also surviving is his grandchild Kyle Gibson.

His funeral service and interment will be held privately.
