New Bedford- Clifford Paul Souza, age 64, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at home. He was the beloved companion of the late Brenda Carvalho, formerly of New Bedford. Survivors include his stepson Dana Carvalho, grandsons Jefferey and Sean Carvalho, sister-in-law Sandra “Sandy” Souza and close friend Joan Lord. He is also survived by two nieces. He was the brother of the late James R. Souza
Mr. Souza was a son of the late Lillian M. (Farias) and James R. Souza. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. Cliff worked at Purity Laundry as a sorter.
Mr. Souza’s arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Mr. Souza’s wishes were that he be cremated. Burial of cremains will be private at the convenience of the family.
