DUDLEY, Alice T. (Biesiadecki) Peck, 80, of 2 Indian Road, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard after a period of declining health. Her husband of 42 years, Albert S. Peck, died in 1995.
She leaves 3 sons, Albert J. Peck and his wife Andrea of North Grosvenordale, CT, Darryl J. Peck and his wife Caroline of Dudley with whom she lived until moving to Webster Manor 3 years ago, and Jeffrey J. Peck of Woodstock, CT; a daughter, Carol A. Boye of Latham, NY; a brother, Ferdinand E. Sugar of Dudley; 4 grandchildren, Ben Boye, Tim Peck, Kim Lamoureux and her husband Rob, and Dan Peck; many nieces and nephews; and her friends at Webster Manor. She was preceded in death by a son, William A. Peck in 1982, and by a brother, Richard W. Sugar in 1951.
She was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of Mary Biesiadecki and lived in Dudley since her marriage in 1953. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1949.
Mrs. Peck was a bookkeeper for her husband’s construction business until he retired. She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church and the Dudley Polish National Alliance. She coached Lassie League many years ago. She enjoyed all sports, particularly her Boston Red Sox and her New England Patriots. Above all, she maintained a positive and strong spirit no matter how many health challenges and obstacles she faced.
The family would like to thank the staff at Webster Manor for the loving care they provided for their mother.
The funeral will be held Friday, March 2, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 1, in the funeral home.
