Gately, Catherine M. (Norton) of Webster, NH formerly of Marshfield, MA passed away peacefully on February 26 surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 10, 1922 in Boston to Patrick and Anne (Stover) Norton. Beloved wife of Matthew J. Gately Jr. of Webster, NH. Loving mother of Maureen and son in law Mark Collins, loving grandmother of Katie all of Webster, NH. Catherine was predeceased by sister Eleanor Lloyd of Brockton and brother John Norton of Roslindale. She is survived by sisters Anne Foley of Braintree and Mary Theresa McDonald of Roslindale and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139, Marshfield on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday March 2 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church 40 Canal St. Marshfield at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
