Cannon, Elaine (Boudreau) 79, of Plymouth (Manomet) passed away peacefully February 25th, at The Life Care Center. Beloved wife of Earl R. Cannon of Manomet, mother of Dennis Cannon of Merrimack, NH, Richard Cannon of Bridgewater, Christine Dixon of Scituate and the late Gregory Cannon. She also leaves a brother Ralph Boudreau of Ohio and a sister “Sister” Ann Marie Boudreau of Marlboro, and 8 grandchildren.
Elaine was born in Newton the daughter of Edmund and Ella (Boudreau) Boudreau. She graduated from Our Lady’s School in Newton. Elaine was a volunteer for Catholic Charities for many years. Elaine and her husband Earl moved to Plymouth about 30 years ago, she was very active at St. Bonaventure’s Parish and was a member of the choir and the Bonnie Seniors. She loved to play bridge and was active in her community (Plymouth Commons) and was the editor of their newsletter. Both Elaine and Earl enjoyed wintering in St. Petersburg, Florida.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure’s Parish on Wednesday February 29 at 10:00 AM. With burial in the Manomet Cemetery. There are no visiting hours and in lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the St Bonaventure Building Fund, P.O. Box 996, Manomet, MA 02345
