Louise T. (Picard) Roy, 85, of Westport died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was wife of the late Joseph P. Roy.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of the late Adrien and Beatrice M. (Ducharme) Picard. Mrs. Roy was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Senior Citizens, the St. Mary’s Cathedral Senior Citizens and she also volunteered at Marie’s Place in Fall River.
Survivors include 6 sons: Daniel J. Roy of Westport, Robert A. Roy of Westport, Thomas P. Roy of NH, Victor W. Roy of Westport, Eugene R. Roy of Westport and Arthur E. Roy of Westport; a daughter: Pauline L. Andrade of FL; 2 brothers: Rev. Mr. Adrien Picard of MA and Raymond Picard of Fall River; 5 sisters: Annette Ford of Westport, Martha Ratcliff of Fall River, Sr. Theresa Picard, R.J.M. of Warwick, RI, Marie Brogan of Tiverton and Margo Picard of Fall River; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Wednesday 4 – 8 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
