CAMPBELL, A. J., 81, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012.
He was born, July 2, 1930 in Corbin, KY to Edith Ellen and James Lee Campbell. A. J. was a retired employee of CSX - L & N Railroad, a Shriner, a member of Masonic Lodge #938 in Corbin and Shively Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death on January 26, 2012 by his beloved wife of 63 years, Betty Joe (Parman) Campbell.
Survivors include his three children, Phyllis J. Collard (Duke), James A. Campbell (Crys) and Katie E. Hardesty (J. B.); seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Jackie Ellison and Joann Slavey.
Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1 - 8 p.m. Monday.
