TEWKSBURY - Lorraine Frances (Bell) Carmosino, 65, died Friday, February 24th, at the Blaire House of Tewksbury, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. She was born in Chelsea, November 4, 1946, a daughter of the late, Roy and Frances (Walls) Bell. She was raised in Revere, lived most of her life in the Boston area, before relocating to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998. She worked in the casino and gaming industry in Las Vegas as a Director of Human Resources, and returned to Tewksbury in 2010, to be near family after becoming ill.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Joanne Sherwood and her husband Daniel of Hooksett, NH, Audrey Carmosino and John Feitor of Tewksbury, a brother and sister-in-law; Roy Bell and his wife Bonnie of Pennsylvania, two sisters and a brother-in-law; Eleanor Todd and her husband Thomas of Georgia, Sandra Patterson of Georgia, one granddaughter; Andrea Mendizabal of Dallas, TX, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her late brother, Richard Bell.
Following her cremation, a Memorial Service was held Saturday, March 3, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, for cancer research will be appreciated at www.cancer.org.
