Obituary

Clarence G. “Cookie” Cook, 83, of Kane Road, died Wednesday, February 22, 2102 at North Bay Manor. He was the husband of Norma (Garriepy) Coleman.

Born in Bellingham, MA, he was a son of the late Harold and Inga (Totland) Cook. He had lived in Smithfield for 27 years and had previously lived in Bellingham.

He was a Marine veteran of Korea. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local #94 and had worked as a construction superintendent for many local construction companies. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
He is also survived by his children: Deborah, Bruce and Jason Cook, Carolyn Prescott, Heidi Pacheco, Gail Santoro: his stepchildren: Kevin Coleman, Jayne Tainsh, Joanne Jackson, his twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and his siblings: Harold Cook, Mildred Breault and Linda Kornick. He was the brother of the late John Cook and Norma Reneault.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial private. Visitation Monday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN38101-0050
