EAST GLOUCESTER: Lloyd O. Garron, 84, died early Thursday morning, February 23, 2012. He was the husband of Juanita M. Garron.
Born in Danvers on September 18, 1927, he was the son of the late Eldridge and Georgena (Cook) Garron. A lifelong resident, he had attended Gloucester public schools.
Lloyd was employed as a switchboard operator at the Addison Gilbert Hospital for over thirty-seven years.
He enjoyed spending time at the Rose Baker Senior Center. He was also a longtime member of the former Acacia Lodge A.F. & A.M.
In addition to his wife of twenty-seven years, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Barbara Garron of Sanford, ME and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Burnley and Frances Garron, Chester Garron, Russell and Norma Garron and Sinclair Garron.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Interment will be held privately.
