Diana (Khouri) Beattie of Foxboro passed away February 22, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 57 years old.
Diana was born in Boston in 1954. Her family relocated to Wellesley when she was 7 years old. She graduated Wellesley High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree at Northeastern University in 1977. Diana worked for over 20 years as a Child Life Therapist at the Shriner’s Burn Hospital in Boston. She later worked for over 7 years as a Librarian Teacher in the Foxboro Public Schools.
Diana was the dear and devoted wife for 26 years of Scott Beattie. Beloved mother of Rob and Ryan Beattie. Loving daughter of the late Antoon and Lillian (Haddad) Khouri. Dear sister of Violet Robbat and her husband Richard of Lexington, Russell Khouri and his wife Colleen of CA, and Arthur Khouri of Holliston. Loving daughter-in-law of Lorraine Beattie of RI and the late Robert Beattie.
An estimated 700 friends and relatives filled the Church of St. John of Damascus in Dedham for Diana's visiting hours on February 26, 2012. His Grace Bishop John Abdalah celebrated her Funeral Service February 27, 2012 in the Church of St. John of Damascus 300 West St. Dedham.
Diana was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
