Alberta L. Palmieri, 84, of Wallum Lake Road, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012. She was the wife of Ralph E. Palmieri. They were married for 56 years.
Born in Burrillville, a daughter of the late Albert W. and Elsie L. (Congdon) Wilcox.
Alberta was a past president of the VFW Post 1023 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Rose Shaw of Pascoag and Alberta Hips of Bennetsville, SC, 4 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter;
siblings, Lester Wilcox of Green Valley, AZ & Grace Brey of Eastern, MD. She was the sister of the late Carolyn Sherman.
Funeral Service Monday at 11am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation Respectfully Omitted. Burial in RI Veteran’s Cemetery.
