TEWKSBURY - Ruth J. (Fuller) Ringwood, age 77, a member of the Tewksbury UnitedMethodist Church, died Saturday morning, April 3, at Genesis Westford House, after a longperiod of declining health. She was the wife of Edward J. Ringwood Sr., who died in 1989.
She was born in Malden, April 17, 1926, a daughter of the late Irving and Gladys (Jordan) Fuller. She was raised in Malden, but had lived in Tewksbury for almost 50 years.
She will be remembered as having devoted her life to her family.
She is survived by three sons and their spouses, Retired Tewksbury P.D. Detective Paul R. andhis wife Catherine “Sissy” (Doherty) Ringwood of Tewksbury, Edward J. Ringwood Jr. ofTyngsboro, John I. and his and his wife Maryjane (Silliker) Ringwood of Rockport; a daughterand son-in-law, Linda and her husband Richard Bottis of Fountain Valley, CA; two sisters and abrother-in-law, Edna Harnden of Saugus, Dorothy and her husband Miller Tinsley of TN; ninegrandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Her funeral service was held Tuesday, April 6, in theFuneral Home. Interment was in Tewksbury Cemetery.
