Dooley, Richard Raymond “Dick” 84 of Louisville passed away Tuesday February 21, 2012 at his home.
Born in Chillicothe, MO, was a retired Salesman, Army Veteran of World War 2 where he was with the 25th infantry Division
And served in the Pacific Theater. He was with the Civil Air Patrol since 1964, served as Kentucky Commander of the Civil Air Patrol,
Regional Commander of Great Lakes Region, member of the American Legion. He had a life long love for Aviation and
Received his pilots license before he could drive. He was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for over 20 year. He loved his
Family and Country very much.
Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Dorothy Isabelle Dooley.
He is survived by his son Richard William Dooley, his daughter Susan Ann Dooley Downes (Jim)
Grandchildren Naomi Downes, Rebekah Downes and Darrell Knoop; a Great Grandchild Payton Downes.
His Funeral Service will be 10:30 am Saturday February 25, 2012 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown
9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
