SHIFFER - Caroline M. Shiffer, 86, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 18, 2012 in Yulee, FL.
Mrs. Shiffer was born January 22, 1926 in Harding PA and was a resident of Asheboro, NC for the past 30 years. She had been staying with her son in Yulee for the past two weeks when she passed away.
She was predeceased by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Gerald F. and Suzanne Shiffer of Yulee, FL; two brothers, Woody Vosburg and Curtis Vosburg; a sister, Jan Cicon; three grandchildren, Jeran Blanchard, Nathan Andrew and Emily Caroline; and two great grandchildren, Haiden Elizabeth and Jaylan Blanchard.
A memorial service will be held in Asheboro, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
