WEBSTER- Barbara A. (Bartkiewicz) Poplawski, 76, formerly of Victory Drive, died Monday, February 20, 2012 in Lanessa Extended Care after a period of declining health.
She leaves a son, Brian Poplawski and his wife Meagan of Raynham; a daughter, Lynn A. Siekerski and her husband James of North Grosvenordale, CT; 4 grandchildren, Brooks, Bryce, Aaron and Bret; a sister, Dolores Martin of North Grosvenordale, CT; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Was) Bartkiewicz and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School.
Mrs. Poplawski was a secretary at Anglo Fabrics Company for many years before she retired. She was a former member of the St. Joseph Polish Women’s Club.
The family wants to thank the staff at Lanessa for their loving care of Barbara.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 3, in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday, March 3, in the funeral home.
