Paton Powers, 17, of Clarksville, TN, died on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born on February 20, 1994 in Clarksville, TN son of Pat Powers and Christy Cates Whary. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rylee Powers.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 3-7 PM and Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 12 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Paton was a student at Clarksville High School.
He is survived by his parents, Pat Powers and Christy Whary of Clarksville, TN; a fiance, Shelby Dabbs; a son, Aiden Powers; paternal grandparents, John and Sue Powers of Clarksville, TN; and maternal grandparents, Joan and Ricky Cato of Clarksville, TN.
Pallbearers will be Chance Crotzer, Steven Crotzer, Mark Richmond, David Richmond, Josh Ladd, and Justin Ladd.
