BRADBURY, James F. – Of Dedham, February 17, 2012. Beloved husband of Doreen E. (Hallock) Bradbury. Devoted father of Jeanne A. Cullinane and her fiancé Joseph Thoman of Nashua, NH, Diane F. Higgins and her companion Michael Doyle of New Paltz, NY, James F. Bradbury Jr. and his companion Fely Nadany of Dedham and the late Gail M. O’Connell and her surviving husband John O’Connell of Dedham. Grandfather of Shannon, Brian, Keryn, Lisa, John Jr. Jenna, Jillian and James III. Great grandfather of Cameryn, Brooklyn and Allison. Brother of Margaret Moore of Gilford, NH and the late Frederick and John Bradbury, Kathryn Foley and June Koffinke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Late retired Firefighter, Town of Dedham. Graduate of Dedham High School, Class of 1947. Member of the Dedham High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Korean War Army Veteran and recipient of the Order of St. Barbara Artillery Medal of Honor. Fought in the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, Korea. Capt. of the Dedham American Legion Post 18 Honor Guard. Member of the Dedham VFW Post 2017, DAV Chapter 42, Boston and the Boston Lodge of Elks.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. DEDHAM, Tuesday, February 21st at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday, February 20th from 4-8 PM. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
