Mrs. Paulette (Robino) Marra, of Taunton died Friday, February 17 in the Golden Living Center – Wedgemere following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Marra. She was born 64 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Bruno P. and Cecile J. (Dumont) Robino. She was educated in Taunton, having graduated from the former St. Jacques Grammar School and Taunton High School, and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a school bus driver for Bloom’s Bus Service in the city of Taunton for 24 years. Paulette was also employed as a receptionist for the Kiley School of Dance in Tauntn for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting Foxwoods and Atlantic City, jigsaw puzzles, playing games on the computer, and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 1 son: Michael J. Marra and his wife, Janet of Taunton; 2 daughters: Michelle M. Kotkowski and her husband, Thomas of Taunton, and Mary Jo Ellis and her husband, Ken of Taunton; 1 brother: Peter Robino of Taunton; 1 sister: Jacqueline Coute of Taunton; 2 grandchildren: Makenzie Marra and Elijah Ellis, and several nieces and nephews. Paulette was also the sister of the late Roland Robino, Norman Robino, and Sandra Hartgrove.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, February 22 at 10:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in the V.A. National Cemetery, Bourne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 1309 Beacon St., Brookline, Ma., 02446-9918.
