CHAPUT, Joseph Michael- Of Wakefield, formerly of Beachmont and Chelsea, February 16th. Devoted companion of Beth Fronczak of Chelsea. Son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Bonds) Chaput. Beloved brother of Francine Chaput, A. Paul Chaput and his wife Carol Forte, Edward G. Chaput and James Chaput and his wife Cynthia Peach all of Wakefield, William S. Chaput and wife Danielle of Tewksbury and John Chaput and his wife Maria of Wakefield. Also lovingly survived by his son, Grant Tame, 2 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday, February 20th at 10 AM. Born in Chelsea and residing here for 37 years before moving to the Beachmont section of Revere, Joseph passed away at the Wakefield Care and Rehabilitation Center after a courageous 19 month battle with cancer. A graduate of the Northeast Vocational High School, he was employed as a interior mill worker for Curuolite Stairs on Spencer Ave in Chelsea and also worked as a bartender at Dick's Cafe in Cary Square.
