Rose Douglas, age 74, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, February 16,2012, at home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Douglas was born on July 7, 1937, to the late Raymond and Grace Evaline Medearis Durant. She was a member of the Fales Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include: her daughter, Bonnie Mae Knox, of Douglas, GA; one son, Jess Alan Headlee, of Newton, IL; one sister, Mildred Cade, of Bradford, IL; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 6-9 PM.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2 :00 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edgar Musgrove officiating. Interment followed at Arna Church Cemetery.
