Concord----Michael N. Martin, 52, of 61 Pleasant Street, died at the Concord Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2012.
Michael was born October 20, 1959 in New Bedford, Mass., the son of Cora (Pherson) Soucy. He resided in Belmont for many years before moving to Concord three years ago. He had been employed at the St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and enjoyed being a volunteer firefighter with the Winnisquam Fire Department for many years. He was also an avid ham radio operator.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Kimalee Martin, of Concord; a daughter, Crystle Martin, and her fiancé, Joseph Perry, of Belmont; two grandchildren, Ayden and Kira Perry of Belmont; his mother, Cora Soucy, of Wagener, South Carolina; two brothers, Harry Martin, and his wife, Heidi, of Florida and Todd Soucy, of South Carolina; two sisters, Michele Dougherty and her husband, Tom of Wagener, South Carolina and Diane Keifer and her husband, Sam, of Milford, N.H. and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law and best friend, James R. McIntire.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the evening on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his daughter’s home.
