Worcester- Patricia L. (Rousseau) Germaine, 66, of 285 Fairmont Ave., died peacefully Monday, March 29, at home.
She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She leaves four children, Theresa L. Riel of Worcester, Michael W. Rousseau of Sterling, John T. Germaine of Worcester, and Maryann Gilchrist of Fitchburg; five grandchildren, Heidi R. Ligouri of Worcester, Kayla M. Riel of Spencer, Jared P. Germaine and Gabrielle E. Germaine, both of Worcester, and Michael J. Rousseau of Sterling; two great grandchildren, Matthew T.S. Rousseau and Erin C.P. Ligouri of Worcester; a brother, James Keddy of Sterling; two sisters, Cynthia St. John of Worcester and Marsha Boudreau of West Boylston. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Grace (Rousseau) Keddy and raised by the Toupin family in Cherry Valley and Hill, NH. She resided in Worcester all of her adult life.
She worked as a nurses assistant at Worcester City Hospital and was also a former cub scout den mother. She was a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral. She attended Quinsigamond Community College.
The funeral will be held Friday, April 2, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Paul’s Cathedral, 15 Chatham St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, in the funeral home.
