Mr. William “Bill” C. Crowley, a lifelong resident of Andover and beloved son of Elizabeth A. (Morgan) Crowley and the late John W. Crowley, died at his home on Monday morning, February 13, 2012. He was 55 years old.
Mr. Crowley was born in Lawrence on June 25, 1956. He was a graduate of Andover High School, class of 1974 and was employed for many years as an equipment operator for J.W. Watson. Bill had a great sense of humor and was a loyal friend to many. He was especially devoted to his nieces and nephews.
Besides his loving mother, Elizabeth, Bill will be very sorely missed by his devoted siblings; Joan E. Mailhot of North Andover, Rebecca M. and her husband Peter Brucato of Kensington, NH, John W. and his wife Carrie E. Crowley of W. Newbury, Ellen A. Crowley of Andover, Sheila A. Crowley and Randy Mitton of Andover, Sarah H. and her husband Bernard Rastello of Methuen and Rachel G. and her husband Mark Healy of Marshfield, brother-in-law; Russell Serbagi, nieces and nephews; James and Christopher Mailhot, Ryan and Brendan Rastello, Casey and Morgan Serbagi and Katherine and Dolan Healy. He was also the devoted brother of the late Liza J. Crowley.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Friday, February 17, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Thursday, February 16, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was private.
