Worcester- Francine M. (Burokas) Gildauskas, 88, of 14 Dalton St., died Wednesday, March 31, at home.
She leaves her husband of 52 years, Veto C. Gildauskas; a son, William V. Gildauskas; two daughters, Marion F. DeAlba of Enfield, CT, and Francine N. Smith of Worcester; a sister, Mary Sullivan of Dennis; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; nephews and nieces. Two brothers, William Burokas and Frank Burke, predeceased her. Two sisters, Ruth Smeltzer and Nancy Degnis, also predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Jockim and Mary (Bradauskas) Burokas and lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Gildauskas was an active member of St. Casimir Parish. She was an Avon representative, and enjoyed gardening and floral arranging.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 3, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 2, in the funeral home.
