Michael A. Blasotto 86, of Wayland died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Kindred Health Care Center in Natick.
He was the beloved husband of Etta D. (Cochran) Blasotto with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
A Wayland resident for 50 years, he was born in Natick the son of the late Angelo and Michalena (Bellofatto) Blasotto.
Mr. Blasotto was employed by the former Paul Manufacturing Company of Framingham, Queensland Robe Company of Natick, and later years at Regis College, and LaSalle College.
He was a devoted husband, father, and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter Darlene Duncan and her husband Gerald Duncan Jr. of Natick, two grandsons Bradley Duncan and his wife Michele of Leominster, Jonathan Duncan and his wife Elizabeth of Wahaiwa HI, 4 great- grandchildren, Gianna Duncan, Jacob Duncan, Arianna Duncan, Haleigh Duncan, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late Karen Blasotto who died in 1992, and brother of the late Anna Cornoni, Frank Blasotto, and Joseph Blasotto.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, February 15 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in the Parish of the Good Shepherd, at St. Zephrins Church, 99 Main Street (Rte 27), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Interment in the Blasotto family lot in Lakeview Cemetery, Wayland.
