Obituary

Normand O. Bourget 84, of Providence St., formerly of Zellwood, FL died Friday, February 10th at Philip Hulitar Home and Hospice Center. He was the husband of the late Nancy (Pellend)Bourget. Born in Woonsocket January 13, 1928, he was a son of the late Omer and Annette (Rivard) Bourget. He was a resident of Florida for thirty five years and was employed by the Orange County School District. Normand served in the US Navy during WWII, and in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a Past District Commander for the VFW Post # 10147 Altamonte Springs/Apoka. Normand was an avid golfer and also enjoyed fishing and playing poker.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Brunelle of Woonsocket, and Donna Bourget of North Smithfield, and two grandchildren, Christopher and Meaghan Brunelle, and many devoted cousins, friends, and relatives. He was also the brother of the late Raymond Bourget.

His funeral will be held Thursday morning at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 AM and a service beginning at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations to Home and Hospice Care of RI, Philip Hulitar Center, 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904-9826 in his memory would be appreciated.
