Eunice P. Healey, 73 of Fremont, NH, formerly of Hiram, ME, died Friday February 10, 2012 at Exeter Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born February 20, 1938 in Bethel, ME, and was a daughter of the late Glenn and Ruth (Mason) Collins. She was raised and educated in Hampstead and was a graduate of Hampstead High School.
Eunice was a homemaker, and raised her 3 children in Hampstead and Hiram, ME. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, she was an avid facebook member and enjoyed computer games. She was a 14 year breast cancer survivor, and will long be remembered as “Everybody’s Mom”. Eunice was also employed with McDonald’s in Epping for 5 years, and made many friends during her time there.
Members of the family include her husband of 55 years, Richard A. Healey of Fremont, a son David Healey and his wife Parmelia of Hiram, ME, a daughter Julie Rhea, and her husband Ralph of Weare, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a sister, Carol Collins of Danville, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda McLaughlin in 2010.
Following cremation, a memorial service was celebrated Wednesday February 15th, from 1pm to 2pm with services at 2 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St. Derry, NH.
