Marie L. (Spataro) Musto, of Medford, died Thursday at home in the company of her loving family. She was 95.
Marie was raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Stella (Brangaforte) Spataro. Marie worked in her earlier years as a chocolate packer at the former Schraffts Candy in Charlestown. Later in life she was a sales person at Macy’s and worked until she was 82. A wonderful and kind woman, she was devoted to her family and friends.
The wife of the late Benjamin Musto, who died this past April after 72 years of marriage, Marie leaves her children: Louise Musto-Choate of Medford, Benjamin Musto and his wife Carol of Arlington, and Robert Musto and his wife Judy and their extended family of Lynn. She was a loving grandmother to Greg, Marc, Jennifer, Bengi, Tara, Jenny Rose and also leaves four great grandchildren. She was the sister of Philip Spataro of East Boston and the late Carmella Gregory, Rose Sbadone, Josephine Porter, Angela DeVito and Sam Spataro.
Family and friends may visit Wednesday from 4 thru 8 PM and again on Thursday morning, February 16th at 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, Malden, at 9. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
