Frank J. Harwood, 36, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2012. Frank leaves his beloved daughter, Deniella Harwood; his father Frank G. Harwood of Worcester; his mother, Judy (Taylor) Feldman of Hudson; his brother, Richard Harwood of Vinyl Haven, ME; his sisters Lisa Harwood of Hudson, Jackie Harwood of Worcester, and Darlen Harwood of Vinyl Haven, ME; and nieces & nephews. He also leaves his fiancé Eleanor Millett and her three daughters Kelcie, Amber, and Ashley Carrier of Worcester.
Frankie was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty Memorial High School in 1993 where he was a standout football player awarded all-star status in his senior year. Frank attended Worcester State College (majoring in Education and Psychology) where he also played football. He worked for the Department of Youth Services. In 2009, he set the New Hampshire state record with a 900 lb 16-inch dead lift. Frank enjoyed spending time with his daughter and the rest of his family and friends and watching the Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox.
Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St on Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 5-7 pm. The service will follow at 7 pm. Burial will be private.
