Wilda Rebecca Cone Henderson, 61, of Tifton died Friday, February 10, 2012, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. James Johnson and Rev. Marion Green will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
Mrs. Henderson was born on November 28, 1950 in Norman Park and was the daughter of Walter E. Cone and Sadie Cummings Cone, both deceased. She worked as a mender at J. P. Stevens for 17 years and as an inspector at Prestolite Wire for 15 years. She enjoyed yard sales and camping and fishing at the Alapaha River. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by her husband, James E. Henderson of Tifton; one daughter, Shanna Henderson of Tifton; one brother, William Cone of Thomasville; two grandchildren, Alisha Vega and Sara Green; and one great-grandchild, Destiny Vega.
